Eligibility Criteria for Company Secretary (CS)

• After Class 12: Students who want to study Company Secretary after 10+2 must first enrol in the Training Program. Students from the sciences, business, and the arts are welcome to enrol in the course.
• After Graduation: Candidates interested in pursuing a Company Secretary course after graduation can enrol right away for the Executive Program and then continue to the Professional Program after completing a bachelor's degree in any discipline other than fine arts.
• Final Programme: Candidates who have not passed the executive program after graduation or the foundation and executive program after 10+2 will be unable to continue with the Professional Program.

Admissions Procedures for Company Secretaries:

The Foundations Program is a program that is designed to:

• You must apply in March of the same year if you want to take the CS Foundation exam in December.
• If you wish to take the exam in June, you must apply by September of the previous year at the latest.

Program for Executives:

• Candidates who registered before May are eligible to take any one of the executive exam modules in December. Students who registered before November will be able to take one of the programs in June of the following year.
• If you register before February of the same year, you can take both modules of the Executive test in December.
• If you want to take the modules in June, you must apply for the executive program by August of the previous year at the latest.

Professional Development Program:

• If you want to take all of the courses in June, you must apply before the end of August the year before.
• If you apply by the end of May the same year, you can sit for single modules of the CS examinations in December.
• If you apply before the end of November the preceding year, you can also take the single modules in June.

Training for Company Secretaries:

Types of Education	Time Span	Learning
Induction Program for Students (SIP)	7-day period	In order to sit for the tests for both modules, this introduction must be completed within six months after registering for the Executive program.
Program of Compulsory Computer Training	70 hours of work	To be eligible to apply for the Executive Program, you must first complete this program.
Program for Executive Development (EDP)	8-day period	After passing the executive program and before beginning the 15-month training, this must be pursued.
Program for Professional Development (PDP)	25-hour workweek	During the 15-month course, this should be pursued.
Professional Development or Management Training	15-month period	Following completion of the Executive or Professional Program, additional training is required. Training must be done with ICSI Institute-registered firms or under the supervision of a Company Secretary in Practice.
Training on the Field	Three months	It is pursued only after the candidate has passed the professional program and is exempt from the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, which require the candidate to complete 12 months of training.
Agency-Specific Training	15-day period	After finishing SIP, EDP, passing the professional program, and completing 15 months of training, this can be pursued. The training might be obtained from the Registrar of Companies (ROC), a financial or banking institution, a stock exchange, or a management consulting firm.
Orientation Program for Management Skills (MSOP)	15-day period	Candidates who have been totally or partially exempted from training and have provided the paperwork required to comply with the 1982 regulation are eligible to apply. Only after passing the professional program, EDP, and 15-month training can you pursue this training
