Upon completion of their BSc degree, students have the opportunity to transition to BTech course. They can gain admission directly into the second year of a BTech degree. Initially, only diploma holders were eligible for BTech admission through the Lateral Entry scheme. However, starting from the academic year 2013-14, this provision was extended to BSc students as well. As per the guidelines of AICTE, students who have pursued BSc Computer Science and BSc IT can avail themselves of the direct admission opportunity into the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry.
