The online registrations for IBSAT 2024 have begun at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates aspiring to enrol in the MBA/PGDM programs offered by IBS campuses must complete the online application form when it becomes available. The entire IBSAT 2024 application process will take place online. Applicants must ensure they meet the specified eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2024, as failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their application. The IBSAT 2024 exam is scheduled for December 28 and 29, with results being announced shortly after the exam concludes. Shortlisted candidates will participate in selection rounds, including a Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
The IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA/PGPM programs. The IBSAT score is accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), which include IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. IBSAT is a two-hour computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions, typically held over two days in December. After passing the exam, qualified candidates attend a selection briefing, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

The admission process begins with the submission of the IBSAT 2024 application form. Candidates must complete the application process within the specified deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted. Applications for IBSAT 2024 can only be submitted online. The process starts with the creation of a login ID and password, followed by the payment of the INR 1800 application fee. IBSAT is conducted in multiple cities across the country.

Although IBS does not officially release the IBSAT syllabus, it can be inferred from previous years' exam patterns. The syllabus for IBSAT 2024 is similar to that of the CAT exam and will be divided into four sections. Familiarity with the key topics is essential for success in the IBSAT 2024 exam.
The IBSAT 2024 exam pattern specifies the sections, time limits, and number of questions for the test. The exam will be divided into four sections, with no sectional time limit, allowing candidates to navigate between sections as they choose. The duration of the IBSAT 2024 exam will be 120 minutes.
Since IBSAT is a time-sensitive exam, with 140 questions to be answered in two hours, candidates need to develop a structured preparation plan. Here are some key preparation tips:
The Mock Exam time table for IBSAT 2024 has been announced online. As said before, candidates are advised to have a feel of the actual examination so they can attempt the mock test. Various important conditions need to be fulfilled in order to write the national mock test to be held in 2024 in connection with the IBSAT. Furthermore, Shiksha provides potential candidates with the benefit of a free IBSAT mock test in an attempt to build up precision and expedition.
Before writing the IBSAT exam, the candidate must download sample papers of the previous years’ question papers. It will help the candidates to understand the exam pattern and writing style and to analyses the syllabus and the level of difficulty of the paper.
The IBSAT 2024 scorecard will be made available on the official website. To check and download the IBSAT result, candidates will need to log in using their hall ticket number, registration number, and date of birth. Based on the scores obtained, candidates will be invited to participate in subsequent rounds.
Selected candidates based on the IBSAT 2024 score shall go to the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages where the candidates would be tested on leadership, positive attitude and negotiation skills.
The IBSAT 2024 selection process has been updated to replace the Group Discussion with a Micro Presentation. Results will be available on ibsindia.org. The ICFAI Business School holds these selection rounds for admissions to its eight campuses. Candidates who hold valid scores from recognized exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT, GMAT, MAH CET, or state-level exams since 2022) are also eligible to participate.
Once IBSAT 2024 results are released, the IBSAT 2024 cutoff will be released shortly. Only those who pass the cutoff percentage will be required to sit for the Micro Presentation and Personal Interviews to get an admission. Therefore assuming that the cutoff for Somaiya Institute of Business Studies & Research for the previous year was about 1400 out of 1800, the expected cutoff for IBS Hyderabad vary from 72 to 78. IBSAT 2024 cutoff will be the bar set by the IBS Society for students to get through any of the eight IBS centres across India including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
