The NEET 2024 results were announced on June 4, ten days earlier than the scheduled date of June 14, 2024. On June 11, 2024, the Supreme Court of India reviewed the case against NTA concerning the grace marks system and paper leak and confirmed that NEET 2024 counselling would proceed as planned. A total of 67 candidates achieved full marks of 720. As anticipated by experts, the cutoff marks for each category have increased. Of the 23,33,297 candidates who took the exam, 13,16,268 qualified. Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of NEET-qualifying candidates, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
At a press conference on June 8, 2024, NTA announced the formation of a special grievance redressal committee to address concerns and take necessary actions based on its recommendations. However, NTA also indicated that there would be no re-examination for the NEET 2024 test takers who appeared on May 5, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET UG Application Form 2024 in March 2024. Applicants are required to complete and submit their application by the first week of April. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 exam centres will be operating out of 500 cities across India. The total number of test centres has increased from 3,570 last year to a new high this year. When applying for the exam, candidates must enter their preferred exam city in preferential order. Candidates preparing for NEET 2024 must know the exam pattern and syllabus. To prepare effectively, it is important to shortlist books for studying and reference. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will facilitate the counselling process for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. In comparison, State Authorities are responsible for administering NEET Counselling for 85% of State Quota seats.
